Grab Their Attention
Now we have a good understanding of who our target audience actually is, we can now write copy in their language and appeal to them directly and build trust by offering value.
Language
We start by understanding the language in which our target audience speaks – by this I don’t mean whether it’s English, French or Spanish – I am on about the vocabulary this person uses what is the correct vernacular.
The language you would use to appeal to a group of teenagers is completley different to the language you would use to converse with people over the age of 55.
Understand the language of who you are reaching out to and look at how other articles or ad campaigns are written.
Offer Value
People love value for money – it doesn’t matter if you’re at the budget end of the scale or the luxury end we all like value for money.
This is a sure fire way to grab your prospects attention and turn them into paying customers.
Think of ways where you can offer great value and in return get repeat business.
For me i’ll be searching out great luxury travel deals and off the beaten track luxury hideaways all tried and tested for a great price.
Build Trust
From offering value this leads nicely into building trust.
Once you turn a prospect into a customer and keep providng them with value then you will start to build trust between your brand and your customers – and this is super powerful.
The more content I put out the more my target audience will consume and the more they’ll share – as long as they get the content and information they desire they’ll grow to love the brand and support it.
Get to know your audience
Even though you’ll be acting as a brand most of the time – remember you are a human being so make sure you promote that!
People love people and if you can come away from the brand and into the mainstream as you then you will attract more people into your network.
Maybe you’ll have an about page on your website or do a meet the person behind the brand blog post or social media post – whatever it is in whatever capacity – be you once in a while so people know there’s actually someone real behind that logo listening.
